Staying, remaining, eyes shut, one step forward. Swords ready, shield ready. Looking stupid. Like, how could these toys possibly make any difference would it actually come to it. But they make me feel slightly safer. Hopefully enough to make it far enough, not able to turn back. I'm putting a lot of trust in this gut thing.
